Stuck in a Wet Pattern

South Florida in the Clouds
Saturday skies were mostly cloudy and this trend will continue into the nighttime hours. With the sea breeze still going strong, we cannot rule out scattered, quick showers into the overnight hours.
Sunday will definitely be the wetter of the two days. A storm system brewing in the Gulf of Mexico will leave South Florida soaked starting in the afternoon. The forecast is calling for mostly cloudy skies, rain showers (possible downpours), and a slight chance of thunderstorms once the afternoon heat starts cooking.
Sunday's weather pattern will continue into Monday with less chances of thunderstorms.
