A stalled out front over South Florida will stir things up again on Friday causing more rain across the area. Hopefully it will not be as wet as it was on Thursday when Ft. Lauderdale set a record.
The new total is over 4 inches, the old mark was 2.88" in 1912.
The weekend promises to be drier but as we approach a very busy air travel weekend, a big winter-like storm will begin to grip the Eastern Seaboard with wind, rain, and even snow across the Northeast. We may see a few more storms by Tuesday and Wednesday but it appears that Thanksgiving should be nicer here.
We will have air traffic updates throughout our weather updates.
