South Florida don't let the nice weather to start this Thursday fool you. Clouds and rain are set to bubble up by the afternoon. This is all due to a front hanging around South Florida and as long as the front is around, the chance for rain will remain between 40-50% in the forecast. Model guidance is suggesting that the front should completely fall apart late Friday with an overall nice weekend on tap. However, another cold front is set to move in unnoticed on Sunday. Previous models runs kept insisting at cooler weather for next week and now they are backing off on that solution.
Looking ahead into Thanksgiving, many of you will be traveling to see family and friends and we will be watching yet another cold front that could potentially bring wet weather to the Florida peninsula on Wednesday, extending to the Northeast United States. For now, Thanksgiving day is looking drier, less humid and comfortable.
Have a wonderful Thursday South Florida and make it a safe one!
