A gray weekend has been experienced in South Florida. The reason for the cloudy skies and occasional showers is due to a front hanging around. Until it decides to fade, more of the same type of weather can be expected on Sunday. Most of the computer models are suggesting that it will remain breezy along the coast through Monday, but good news on Veterans Day... More sunshine will be available and a lower chance of seeing a spotty shower as the front completely falls apart.
In the long run, we expect the clouds, wind and seas to increase once again. This will be ahead of another cold front. Around parts of the United States this will be the first arctic plunge, for us just a slight cool down with this one. Yes you heard right! A chance of rain is the forecast Tuesday into Wednesday ahead of the cold front. By Wednesday night, the clouds should clear and the breeze will be out of the North temporarily allowing slightly cooler air to filter through. Overnight lows will be in the middle to upper 60s, then back to normal in the 70s for Friday. The weather overall will be nice and mostly dry.
Tropics: We are not watching any areas for development.
Have a wonderful weekend South Florida and make it a safe one!
