Showers Drying Out
Posted by Karlene Chavis
Drier Days Ahead
By Wednesday night, we will still be dealing with the tail end of a weak cold front. As this front continues to move into the Florida Straits, expect a slight chance of spotty showers from Broward to the Keys.
By Thursday, we could see isolated morning showers favoring the coast. The front will move out by Thursday afternoon. This will leave South Florida skies looking clearer as dry air moves in. The sunshine state will live up to its name as mostly sunny skies stick around into next week.
Eyes on the Tropics
The National Hurricane Center is still monitoring a low in the Eastern Tropical Atlantic waters over 4,000 miles away from Florida. This cluster of clouds and thunderstorms is maintaining a medium chance of developing into a tropical cyclone over the next 3-5 days.
