Let's Get the Weekend Started!

Saturday Showers, Sunday Sunshine
Drier air is filtering in from the north as the front that brought a week of storms continues to move out across the Florida Straits. Friday night will be mostly dry for us.
An area of low pressure located offshore will push in moisture from Broward to the Keys on Saturday. We could see isolated showers and inland storms. As high pressure builds in again, expect isolated sprinkles to as we go into next week.
Eyes on the Tropics
A cluster of clouds and rain located 850 miles to the east-northeast of the Leeward Islands has become slightly more organized. It has a medium chance, 30%, of becoming a tropical cyclone over the next 3-5 days. This feature is expected to move to the northwest and remain in the open waters as a hazard for the shipping lanes.
