Drier and Comfortable
Posted by Vivian Gonzalez
A weak front is moving through South Florida this Friday. It has managed to produced some showers around the Florida Keys. The wind is already to turning out of the North-Northeast signaling a change in the air. High pressure is building in behind the passage of this front (not the cooling kind) and drawing in dry stable air. That means the humidity will be lower and finally some better hair days here in South Florida.
However, this weak front is anchored by an area of low pressure located over the Bahamas and the pressure difference it will create with high pressure building over the Southeast United, should pick up the breeze along the coast and drive in some spotty showers on Saturday. By Sunday, high pressure gets reinforced over the region allowing drier and comfortable weather that will carry through Tuesday of the upcoming week.
Tropics: We have a large area of clouds and rain a few hundred miles East of the Lesser Antilles. It is moving slowly Northwest and the National Hurricane Center is giving it a low chance of 20% to develop in the next 3-5 days.
Have a wonderful weekend South Florida and make it a safe one!
