
Construction worker injured on the job
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A construction worker had to be hospitalized after he was injured on the job.
Rescue Crews responded to 408 Northeast Sixth Street where something hit a construction worker in his chest.
Crews were able to lift the victim off the building's fourth floor. They had to use a ladder truck to get to him because the building had no stairs.
Paramedics took the worker by ambulance to Broward General Medical Canter with non life-threatening injuries.
It remains unclear what exactly struck the worker.
