Suspect rigs pump at South Florida gas station

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Police are looking for a suspect who rigged a pump at a South Florida gas station.

The suspect was captured on surveillance video swiping fuel illegally by pumping gas for customers at the Citgo on 22nd Avenue and Southwest Eighth Street.

One car after another were all caught on camera pulling up, pumping gas and then pulling off without paying. A total of five cars stole 100 gallons of gas at the Citgo.

The owner of the gas station believes the suspect has a universal key to unlock the pump.

The crook is still on the loose, and the owner is afraid he will strike again.

If you have any information on this crime, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
