Authorities arrest Miami man found with missing Ill. teen
MIAMI (AP) -- Authorities have arrested a Miami man they say was found with a missing 15-year-old girl from Illinois.
FBI officials say 49-year-old Heriberto Torres-Rodriguez was arrested Friday morning in Opa-Locka. The girl, Roza Ahmad, of Shiloh, Ill., was found with him. Her condition is not yet known.
Authorities say a tip to the Orlando Police Department lead to a residential address in Opa-Locka, where the two were found along with another man. It's not yet known who he is.
An Amber Alert was issued Thursday for the teen. She was last seen at her school on Tuesday with Torres-Rodriguez, a Miami-Dade County resident. Authorities say he drove to Illinois the day before, picked her up and drove to Miami.
They met in Puerto Rico about a year ago.
