Teachers to protest health benefit cuts

MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- The United Teachers of Dade will hold a protest Wednesday afternoon over scaled back health benefits.

The group will take to the streets outside of the School Board offices to demand full health care coverage. According to UTD afficials, the board issued a pay raise to teachers but scaled back health benefits in the process.

Authorities said a hearing with a special magistrate will be held Friday.
