FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A road ranger is recovering at the hospital this afternoon after a driver lost control and hit him on Interstate 95.
According to Fort Lauderdale Fire, the road ranger was helping an older man change a tire on the side of the road on southbound I-95, just south of Davie Boulevard, when a driver struck the ranger and the older man's car.
Paramedics transported the road ranger, the older man and the other driver to Broward General Medical Center. None of the injuries are life-threatening.
Three lanes had to be closed on I-95, between Davie Road and State Road 84, while crews worked to clean up the mess.
