PrintFormer teacher guilty of preying on minor

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A former high school teacher has been found guilty on charges of lewd and lascivious battery on a child.
Thirty-eight-year-old Julio Polo cried as the verdict was read in court Wednesday. One of his family members was so distraught she fainted outside the courtroom.
Polo is a former math teacher and assistant coach at John Ferguson Senior High in Southwest Miami-Dade.
