Unidentified Lauderhill jewelry thieves caught on camera

LAUDERHILL, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police need help identifying three armed and dangerous jewelry store robbers caught on surveillance camera.

Lauderhill Police say three armed black males wearing ski masks ran into S.B. Jewelry Inc., located at 1487 State Road 7, inside the Lauderhill Mall, at approximately 10:40 a.m. Monday. On the video, the thieves can be seen jumping over the counter, opening the glass case, stuffing items in their bag and then running off. They possibly fled the scene in a maroon sport utility vehicle.

Authorities say suspects stole various jewelry items, including large crosses with diamonds on them as well as various pendants and necklaces.

According to the LPD, one of the suspects left his gun at the scene.
