Lightning sparks house fire

MIAMI (AP) -- Eight people are without a house after lightning caused it to go up in flames.

Fire officials say a lightning bolt struck the roof of the Miami home today, starting a fire in the attic.

Firefighters contained the blaze to the attic and had the fire under control within 30 minutes.

No one was injured in the blaze. The house will need repairs before it can be occupied again.
