Police arrest road rage suspect who attacked a nursing student
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Broward County Police arrested a road rage suspect who attacked a Coral Springs woman.

Police arrested 44-year-old Richard Combs in the parking lot of a Bally Total Fitness Gym Thursday morning and charged him with battery.

On Monday, Misty Wilson, 26, of Coral Springs cut off Combs on University and Ramblewood Drive in order to avoid an accident. "He noticed me and beeped his horn," said Wilson. "I could tell he was angry. I turned around and was like, sorry dude."

According to reports, Combs pulled in front of her and attacked her while she sat inside her car. "He jumped out of his car. The first thing I thought was to make sure he didn't have any weapons. "He put his hand on my jaw and then hit me like that," Wilson said as she reenacted how Combs hit her. "I then screamed, 'I'm calling the police,' and I reached for my purse and he kind of yanked me back with my hair."
