MIAMI (WSVN) -- Police have released the 911 recording of the calls for help following the shooting of a fast food manager over packets of chili sauce.

The tape reveals the shock and fear of staff and patrons after a customer complained about being short-changed chili packets and fired shots at the manager just as he was going to hand over extra chili packets. "Hello, I need an ambulance now and the police at the Wendy's right here," said the voice of a frantic female caller. "Somebody just shot the manager. We need the police and ambulance now. They just shot the manager at Wendy's."

"Ma'am..." said the dispatcher as he tried to calm the caller down.

"Oh, my God. Oh, my God!" she said.

Police say the customer opened fire from his car window and into the drive thru window when the manager approached with a bag filled with the extra condiments he had asked for. The shooting occurred at the Wendy's located on Northwest 181 Street and 27 Avenue in Miami Gardens last month.

Other customers called police, as the victim, who survived the shooting, tried to keep things under control. "Where's the manager now?" asked the dispatcher to another caller.

"He's trying to get everybody else calm because everybody is screaming and hollering," responded a male caller.

Police continue to search for the suspect. He fled the scene in a maroon colored car.

If you have any information on this shooting, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
