Son of Katherine Fernandez Rundle arrested

PINECREST(WSVN) -- The 22-year-old son of Miami-Dade state attorney Katherine Fernandez-Rundle was arrested early Wednesday morning by Pinecrest police. He was charged with burglary and criminal mischief.
According to the arrest affidavit, Evan Rundle was attempting to hotwire a vehicle out side a shell gas station located at 10601 S. Dixie Hwy. The report also states he appeared to be intoxicated and was stumbling when police apprehended him.
Once in the police car Rundle allegedly began yelling loudly and banged his head against the rear passenger window. At the police station cops alleged that he continued to yell and make obscene gestures to the security cameras and repeatedly stated: "Do you know who you’re dealing with?"
This is not the first time Evan has been in trouble with the law. Back in 2001,Rundle along with two other boys was arrested after breaking into Mast Academy in Key Biscayne and stealing a pair of speakers. At the time of the arrest police also found a small amount of Marijuana in the car. He plead guilty to those charges and was sentenced to probation and to perform community service.
In 2004 Rundle was arrested once again outside a Key West bar. Police cited the then 20-year-old outside Sloppy Joe’s on Duval street for having a fake ID.
Katherine Fernandez-Rundle has yet to comment on her son’s latest arrest. No other details have been released.
Evan Rundle posted a $6,000 bond and was released.
