MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A deliveryman is talking about a dangerous day on the job when two gunman kidnapped him and his co-worker.

Two men carjacked the two dilverymen outside a Walgreens on the corner of 41st Street and Pine Tree Drive at about 6:30 Friday morning and forced them into the refrigerated cooler of their own truck. "They caught us off guard and told us to get in the truck. We were stuck back here early in the morning, very cold," said George Cannon, as he opened the doors to the truck.

One moment, Cannon said he was working, delivering cigarettes, and the next thing he knew, he had a gun pointed to his head. "Scary feeling," he said. "Right when he pointed the gun to my face, I thought it was over then. I thought it was over."

Cannon said he feared for his life as he and the truck's driver were driven around by the suspects. "Thinking about the family, my little boy, wife, other people in my life," he said.

While in the back of the truck, the two used a cell phone to call 911. When police got to them, the robbers had abandoned the truck and fled the scene.

Detectives hope surveillance video outside the drug store will help reveal the identities of the two robbers.

If you have any information that can help police find these armed robbers, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
