Black Friday bargains popping up on Web sites

UNDATED -- Many of us just love the day after Thanksgiving. It's what retailers call "Black Friday," the day shoppers rush to stores to begin holiday shopping.
Black Friday is still several weeks away, but shoppers are already making plans.
And this year, Wal-Mart's beating shoppers to the punch. Starting November 5, stores will offer a Compaq laptop computer for less than $400.
Rumors of big Black Friday bargains are popping up on Web sites that track shopping deals.
Best Buy is reportedly planning to sell portable DVD players for $39.99.
Black Friday Web sites also report deals ahead on digital cameras.
Sears reportedly offers one Polaroid model at $99.
Prices are good enough to get people thinking Christmas in early November.
